You’re invited to the 4th Annual Poodle Party book launch celebration for the new book “Watson Goes to the Choctaw Indian Fair” on Saturday, June 13, 2026 beginning at 10:30 AM at Northside Park’s Imagination Fun Station.
Co-authors Dekota Cheatham and Krissy Long debuted their first “Watson Goes to the Neshoba County Fair” book in 2023 which follows the mischievous standard poodle Watson.
In this fifth book of the popular “Watson Goes” children’s book series, the authors worked closely with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians to ensure the story accurately reflects elements of the Choctaw culture and the Choctaw Indian Fair in Watson’s newest adventure.
The Poodle Party book launch is a free, family event that will feature basket weaving and beadwork demonstrations, Choctaw social dancing, food vendors, arts & crafts, and much more.
